Layups
Two lines

Warm-up drill with a shooting line and rebounding line, players switch lines, continue then switch sides.

Progressions

- various types of layups, e.g., reverse, power
- pull-up jump shots off the dribble (e.g. bank shots).

Variation - 4 is a help defender in the paint defending a coach who is low weakside, 4 boxes out coach on the shot, then gets the rebound. 5 is the next defender and rebounder.

Bill Pangos - the shooter runs outside to touch the centre line then goes to the back of the rebounding line, the rebounder dribbles with his outside hand, touches the centre line, and joins the end of the shooting line.

Option - the rebounder passes to an outlet player ("outlet") who passes to the end of the shooting line ("ball"), passers follow their passes (the rebounder is the next outlet receiver).

To shoot or dribble off a direct pass from an outlet player, use two or more outlet players with balls.

Tara VanDerveer (Gooroo) - Pass-pass layups - 1 passes to 6 cutting to the basket, 6 passes back to 1 for a layup and rebounds.
