Tactics Dribble-drive motion

| 1 See the Nets and Walberg dribble-drive offences.
5 on 0. Starting with a kick-up, the following patterns can be used to rehearse dribble-drive motion. Optionally start with a kick-back (middle drive) and finish with a backdoor. Note that a kick-up can lead to a kick-back or kick-up, a kick-back leads to a kick-up.
1) kick-up, kick-up, pass across the top, all perimeter players have rotated one position, repeat 2) kick-up, kick-back for a 3-man weave 3) kick-up, kick-up, kick-back for a 4-man weave
To start, 1 drives, kicks-up to 2, goes to the corner. |

| 2 1) kick-up, kick-up, pass across the top
After the 1-2 kickup, 2 kicks-up to 3, 4 drags behind and replaces 2, 2 replaces 3, 5 relocates. |

| 3 To re-set, 3 passes across the top to 4, all perimeter players have rotated one position, 5 crosses the lane.
Re-start with a 4-1 kick-up, 1-2 kick-up, pass across the top etc. |

| 4 Continue until all players are back where they started, 1 drives, 2 backcuts and 5 comes up to the elbow. 1 can pass to 2 or 5 (2 then 1 clear with a pass to 5, see Walberg). |

| 5 2) 3-man weave (kick-up, kick-back)
After the 1-2 kick-up, 2 kicks-back to 4. |

| 6 Continue with a 4-1 kick-up, 1-2 kick-back etc.
For a three-man weave on the other side, start with a middle drive and kick-up to 3. |

| 7 3) 4-man weave (kick-up, kick-up, kick-back)
After the 1-2 kick-up, 2 kicks-up to 3. |

| 8 3 kicks-back to 4.
Continue with a (4-2) kick-up. kick-up, kick-back. |
