a) Using a screen
4 sets a screen on defender 3, 2 takes one step down to set up the screen, comes off shoulder to shoulder, as the pass is coming he plants his inside (left) foot to square up and shoot above the foul line.
2 rebounds and changes lines, 3 steps out as the next shooter, 4 defends, 1 follows his pass to set a screen, 5 will pass to 3.
See Shooting - Use the pick, Gonzaga screening.
b) Out-cut shooting
Use a chair as the screener. In a game, cutter 3's defender will follow him around the screen or shoot the gap, if he shoots the gap, 3 will out cut - push off the screen with his inside (left) hand and fade (backpedal) to the wing for a pass and shot. Rotate lines.
