Iowa movement without the ball
 | 1 Steve Alford basketballcoach.com 2-3 shooters at each basket, each shooter works with one ball and two chairs. With the ball on one chair, touch the other chair, cut to the pick up the ball, shoot outside the chair, rebound, dribble back, put the ball on the second chair. |
 | 2 Touch the first chair, cut back, pick up the ball and shoot. Continue. Without chairs, just put the ball on the floor. Option - first player to 5 baskets. Progression - move the chairs back, shoot 3s or off the dribble. See Shooting - Eastman elbow pick-ups (including a reverse pick-up option). Scott Meeson - progression - put one chair at an elbow, the other chair at the block on the same side (for a bank shot). |
