Frankston Blues

a) Form shooting

One ball in each line, is a must-do before an individual or team shooting session.

See Shooting - Nash block.

Mario Blasone - each player has a ball, shoot from about 2 metres from left to right then rotate one spot, a coach gives advice (e.g., bend the knees, extend your arm), if the team misses two in a row they all sprint fullcourt and back. Study shooters from in front, behind and from the shooting-hand side, especially during free throws.

b) Spot-up shooting

Receivers have their anchor (non-dominant) foot forward and shooting foot behind, catch and step into each shot with their shooting foot.

This can be modified to partner shooting if there are enough baskets, shoot 5 then rotate shooter to passer.
