Scrimmage
5 on 4 zone

5 attackers vs 4 zone defenders, who guard the elbows and blocks to start (a box), then must always have a defender on the ball. Each team gets 5 possessions then switch. Scoring is 3 points for a layup, 2 points for a 3-point shot, and 1 point for a mid-range basket.

Attackers should look to drive at gaps in the zone, hit the open player quickly, and be ready to catch and shoot. O4 and O5 will attack from behind and screen the back of the zone for skip passes. Defenders need to prevent dribble penetration, anticipate the next pass, and talk to make sure they have one but not two defenders on the ball.

Quin Snyder - zone defenders start in a diamond, always have a man on the ball, 3 possessions for attackers, live on a pass from coach.
