 | 1 Mike Fratello a) X5 is fronting or 3/4 on 5. On a lob pass from coach to 5, X4 and X5 trap (if fronting, X5 will reverse pivot on his top foot to trap) |
 | 2 5 passes out of the trap back to coach, who skip passes to 4. X4 must close out, and X5 get into a help position. |
 | 3 b) 4 flashes from the low post to the high post. X4 closes out with both hands up when the pass is in the air (not before, or coach will pass fake and lob to 5). On the pass, X5 tries to push O5 under the basket away from the ball. In the NBA, the high post flash is often covered by the weakside guard, allowing a double team on the low post without the ball. |
