Combination
 | 1 Coach K Basketball Highway X1 denies the wing-entry pass from coach to O1. Coach can dribble penetrate (X1 helps and recovers ) and/or shoot (X1 boxes out O1) at any time during the series. |
 | 2 X1 helps and recovers as coach dribble penetrates (X1 does not help "up"). |
 | 3 Coach calls "clear" and dribbles towards the wing. O1 basket cuts then clears to the weakside wing. X1 defends the cut, then gets in a helpside position in the lane. Option - coach passes to O1, who passes back for a give and go. |
 | 4 Coach skip passes to O1, X1 closes out and forces baseline. |
 | 5 O1 passes back to coach, X1 returns to a help position. Option - coach dribble penetrates. |
 | 6 X1 bumps and denies O1 the ball on a flash cut to the middle. |
 | 7 O1 then posts up and X1 defends from the top or front. Option - coach dribbles to the corner, X1 switches from (top to) front to bottom on O1. |
