Fratello dig and close-out
 | 1 Mike Fratello Coach is under the basket with a ball, X1 has a hand on the ball (digging on the post). When coach passes to 1, X1 closes out with both hands up, forcing baseline or left as coach asks, and mirrors the ball if 1 moves it around. |
 | 2 When 1 passes back to coach, X1 sprints back to get a hand on the ball, then coach passes to 2 and X1 closes out. Continue with a pass back to coach, dig on the ball, pass to 3, close-out, pass back to coach, and a final dig on the ball. Options - no ball movement by the perimeter players, they just pass back to coach one second after the close-out - the perimeter players can take one or two dribbles then pass to coach. |
