 | 1 Alan Lambert 1 passes to 2, 5 flashes to the ballside high post and 4 steps out to the short corner. |
 | 2 Variation - start in a 1-3-1 set |
 | 3 On the pass to 4, 5 dives hard to the basket and 3 flashes hard into the middle from the weakside. 4 is especially looking for 5 on the post slash. If defenders clog up the middle, 2 and 1 are in good shooting positions. Variation - if 2 does not pass to 4, 5 still dives and 3 cuts. |
 | 4 On ball reversal up top, 5 flashes up the lane, 3 clears back out to the wing, and 4 backcuts the zone along the baseline. 3 tries to cut to a seam in the zone, so the bottom and top defenders on that side are uncertain about coverage. Variation - 4 and 5 x-cut on ball reversal, exchanging positions. |
