a)

O1 and O2 attack X1 and X2. Vary the cone locations to change attacking positions and defensive timing.

Option - O2 and X1 go around the same cone.

b)

The two outside cones are about 3 steps closer to the baseline than the middle cones.

Variation

Attackers are on the outside and must go around their cones inside to outside, the defenders should go around their cones (which are closer to the baseline) so they are closer to the ball. As players circle the cones, coach will

a) keep his hands down, attackers try to score right away, or

b) raise his hands, the attackers must get a post entry before they can score (post up the player with the best advantage, here 2).
